Wests Tigers Targeting Warriors Veteran Shaun Johnson, Says Brent Read

Leading NRL journalist Brent Read has revealed the Wests Tigers recently reached out to veteran Warriors playmaker Shaun Johnson on a potential move back to Sydney.

Johnson, 32, has found his magic again with the Warriors, who sit in eighth spot on the ladder following a disastrous year in 2022.

Read revealed the Tigers are actively looking out for a “halfback that can lead them around the park”, with Johnson’s name in the mix.

“The Warriors have a bit of a fight on their hands,” he said on Triple M’s Rush Hour.
