James Brayshaw kicked off The Saturday Rub by running through some of the interesting names that made it onto the 100-person list of inductees at the NSW Australian Football Hall of Fame ahead of Billy Brownless, who failed to make the cut.
“100 people inducted… and ‘Fat’ who was born in New South Wales did not make it into the Top 100.
“I’ve got the list here. I’ve done some research.
“Jimmy Stiff, Stanley Powditch, Sydney Felstead, Georgey Crisp, Ossie Grose.
“The one I love the most is Wayne Walker, Tex’s old man from Broken Hill!
“He played in something like nine Grand Finals and lost them all… he was a career Grand Final loser.”
