It was a miserable night for the Broncos at home, being smashed on the field by the Roosters and suffering two huge injuries. Jesse Arthurs suffered a fractured jaw, while captain Adam Reynolds ruptured his bicep.
Michael Chammas revealed that both players will spend a long time on the sidelines.
“Jesse Arthurs will go into surgery this afternoon he’s looking, I think at about eight weeks at the moment but the big news is Adam Reynolds.” said Chammas
“He’ll have surgery this week, ruptured bicep he will miss probably three months. They hope to have him back doing contact work in about ten weeks, give him a couple to get right -12 weeks.”
“Just in time for their run home to the finals, that’s a big blow.”
