Leading NRL journalist Brent Read has revealed South Sydney have launched a new bid to call Allianz Stadium their home from next season.

The Rabbitohs last year sparked headlines when the club announced it was keen to get out of its deal long-term deal with Accor Stadium and return to the newly constructed stadium in Moore Park.
Despite those attempts proving unsuccessful at the time, the Redfern-based club have again launched a new bid to find a way to move to the Roosters’ home ground, according to Read.
“This is going to be a big story this week, Souths attempting to get back to Allianz Stadium and ruffling the Roosters’ feathers a little bit about getting back there,” Read said on Triple M’s Monday Scrum
