Dave Hughes is the latest celeb to get on board the Brisbane Brown Snake after Allen’s confirmed production will go ahead!
Brisbane’s Stav, Abby and Matt have been campaigning for Allen’s to create an lollie snake in honour of the Brisbane River affectionately known as the “Brown Snake.”
And who better to get to be the voice of the iconic snake than our Aussie funnyman, Hughesy.
The perfect man with the perfect voice, people still remember his iconic Snakes Alive joke!
“If anyone going to be a Snakes Alive voice over man, it has gotta be me,” he said.
“I want to do it, I’ve got to do it!” he said.
The Brisbane River is the longest river (344km) in South-East Queensland, that stretches from Mount Stanley and ends near Hamilton.
If you want to get on board the Brown Snakes Alive, sign the petition here.
