The biggest talking point from the NRL Grand Final was the controversial no try call in the 49th minute.
Brent Read was satisfied with the bunker’s decision after being shown all the angles by the NRL post game.
“One angle makes it look like it’s the ball that hits the ground but when you see it in conjunction with the second angle, you can see it’s his arm under the ball” said Read

“In that footage that everyone’s looked at that’s his arm.”
“Now that’s not to say he didn’t get it down at some point but based on the footage they had access to it’s a no try.”
Read was shown all the angles available to the bunker outside the post match media scum.
