Aussie actor Jesse Spencer is back in Australia, starring in his first Aussie series in 23 years. At the series launch of the show called Last Days Of The Space Age in Melbourne this week, Jesse revealed some exciting baby news.
“I wanted to play a Dad” the actor said of his new role as power plant worker Tony Bisset “… and now I am… actually we’re expecting a baby girl” he revealed to the audience. This left some wondering if Jesse was confirming the bub he and his wife Kali welcomed in 2022 was a daughter OR was this a very casual announcement of baby #2 on the way?
When host of The Streaming Service Justin Hill caught up with Jesse and his co-stars Radha Mitchell and Linh-Dan Pham ahead of the launch of the show, they spoke about the fascinating storyline that is set around true events from 1979 when a NASA space station was going to crash land in Perth all while the Miss Universe Pageant was happening nearby AND the very regular dramas that come with a close knit community at that time, have a listen to their chat below.
The launch event for the series saw the cast come back together after shooting the show to celebrate it’s release.
Heartbreak High star Thomas Weatherall also stars in the series as the grandson of Deborah Mailman‘s character Eileen.
LiSTNR’s very own Jess Rowe and Justin Hill also channeled the 70’s theme of the night with their attendance.
