Fresh from the big debut of Warnie last night on screens across Australia, Perth’s very own Alex Williams has shared with Pete and Kymba, the immense pressure he felt in capturing the essence of an Australian legend.
In the full, unedited chat below, Willams shares just how he transformed into Warnie, including “bleaching his hair to within an inch of its life.”

Of course, we had to ask. Did Alex feel any added pressure when you consider what Warne’s family might have thought about the project.
“I realised pretty quickly that the show is a celebration of his life, and comes from a place of love,
“I was very comfortable taking it.”
