What Is The Indigenous Voice To Parliament? Fiona Willan Explains

The Indigenous Voice to Parliament referendum will be held later this year and Tanya & Steve want some clarification on what it actually is.

They ask Nine’s federal politics reporter Fiona Willan to break it down for them and explain (in simple terms) what it all means.

She says that the referendum will ask us to “vote on a proposal to recognise First Nations people in the constitution and give them a say on matters directly affecting them, by establishing what’s called a Voice to Parliament”.
