Peter ‘Spida’ Everitt from Triple M’s Gold Coast breakfast show reveals that he was a contestant on a gameshow many moons ago called “Australia’s Brainiest Footballer”. The show featured various NRL, AFL, Union, and soccer players.
“I reckon I came a real close second,” he says as he reminisces.

Another contestant on the show was NRL’s great Michael ‘Croc’ Crocker who formerly played for the Melbourne Storm, Sydney Rabbitohs, and Sydney Roosters. Michael joins Flan, Ali, and Spida saying, “Thanks for reminding me, I actually forgot about it”.
Spida had to remind Michael who was on the show where all Michael could remember was “I think we all did it (the show) because Sandra Sully was the host”.
