West Coast CEO Don Pyke has been a pioneer for raising important awareness for domestic violence within the AFL.
Pyke said that while the AFL has taken great steps to raise the alarm in society, it’s important to continue it all year round instead of it being a one week gimmick.
“I guess I just felt like as an industry we had an opportunity to take a bit of a lead,” Pyke said.
