Taylor Walker says “we’re just so close”, reflecting on his and Rory Laird’s missed goals in their 6-point loss against Brisbane on Roo, Ditts & Loz.

Tex was quick to take responsibility for the missed goals, saying “a few of us missed them” but assures Roo that it won’t be long until we’re on the other side of the ledger.
“I’ll look at it as though we’re so close to be able to take it up to the good sides,” Tex said.
According to Roo, the Crows have faced “more top four sides this year than anyone in the competition,” he said.

Speaking to the missed goals, Roo adds that Rory Laird must be angry after shanking his free kick with 7 minutes left in the game.
“He’s a competitive, angry little man and when he misses goals like that he’d be furious with himself,” Roo said.
