Blues coach Brad Fittler has revealed why under-fire Manly star Tom Trbojevic was always going to be selected in his squad despite “being under a lot of pressure”.

Trbojevic on Monday was named in coach Fittler’s Blues squad for the first time since 2021 after missing last year’s series due to a season-ending shoulder injury.
While the 26-year-old’s form has come under the microscope in recent weeks, with Manly enduring an up-and-down season, Fittler revealed why he was always going to select the star fullback.
“A lot of people questioned his body and dedication,” Fittler said on Triple M’s Rush Hour.
