Leading NRL journalist Brent Read has revealed South Sydney will be without Jai Arrow for an extended period of time after the forward experienced a setback on the weekend.

Arrow, 27, hasn’t played since Round 1 after suffering a hamstring injury in South Sydney’s win over Cronulla.
Arrow and the club were hoping for a short-term stint on the sideline before a setback occurred over the weekend, according to Read.
“He might be out for an extended period,” Read revealed on Triple M’s Monday Scrum.
