Wests Tigers recruit Api Koroisau admits the intense media scrutiny and focus caught him “by surprise”, with the club mired in an ugly form slump in the early stages of season 2023.

Koroisau, a three-time premiership winner between Panthers and Rabbitohs, spoke honestly about the issues at the Tigers, who through six games remain winless while staring down the barrel of another season without finals football.
The club hasn’t played finals football since 2011.
“It did catch me by surprise before I got to the club… not until I got here, did I realise it’s week in and week out. It’s pretty relentless,” he said on Triple M’s Saturday Scrum.
