Triple M Footy news breaker Tom Browne says that the infamous SCG camera angle from where Buddy Franklin’s 1000th goal was kicked is being fixed.
“Lance Franklin’s goal, one of the biggest moments in the history of football… his 1000th goal was obscured by the camera angle,” Browne said on Tom Browne’s News.
“On Tuesday it’s my understanding that the AFL representatives, the SCG Trust representatives, and representatives from both broadcasters were at the SCG, physically there, looking at those angles, trying to work through some solutions so those things don’t happen in the future.
“I’m very pleased to report, I think that will be mitigated in the future.”
Browne said that the work wouldn’t be without its issue.
“You’ve got to move some seats and those types of things,” he said.
“I know that can cause controversy because there’s very access points and so forth for various people… that’s all being worked through.
