Taylor Walker celebrated 250 games with the Crows on the weekend and a new career-high—kicking a massive 10 goals against West Coast.
Tex reflects on the nerves he experienced at Saturday’s game to a crowd of 39,500 at Adelaide Oval on Roo, Ditts & Loz.
“It’s probably the most anxious and nervous I’ve been for a game, my whole entire life,” Tex said.
Chris ‘Ditts’ Dittmar who was there to call some of the moments had some unusally kind words to say about Tex.
“I’ve never hidden the fact that I never barrack for the Crows,” Ditts said.
“But we all wore a bloody Tex Walker jersey…and I was happy to because I absolutely love the bloke, he’s an absolute rippa,” he said.
Adelaide Crows won the round 13 match 27.12 (174) to 8.4 (52)—a heavy defeat for the Eagles.
Calling the game in the Triple M Footy box was Brenton Yates, Bernie Vince, Don Cassisi, Chris Dittmar and Mark ‘Thomo’ Thomas.
