As the Dolphins prepare for their last game of the season this weekend, Gorden Tallis has lifted the lid on the day that supercoach Wayne Bennett broke his lifetime booze ban.
Tallis joined Triple M Breakfast with Marto, Margaux and Dan this morning to celebrate the 23rd anniversary of the Broncos grand final victory of the Roosters, but revealed why Bennett, known as a renowned non-drinker, broke his booze ban on Mad Monday.
“If Wayne got pulled over driving home he would have smelt like the XXXX Brewery.” Said Tallis.
