The tour kicks off on Adelaide on October 18, with dates scheduled in Melbourne, Newcastle, Sydney, Brisbane, and the Gold Coast.

In 1964, the Beatles brought their tour to Australia, with an estimated 350,000 people lining the streets of Adelaide to catch a glimpse of McCartney and his bandmates.

McCartney’s tour this time round has controversially left out Perth, but his Newcastle and Gold Coast dates mark the first time he’ll visit the cities.

The Got Back tour kick-started with a 16-show tour in the US, with McCartney performing a three-hour set.

Before that, McCartney’s 2017 tour also delivered an award-winning three-hour show.

Pre-sale tickets are available from August 3, with general ticket sales to open up on August 11.
