Dolphins CEO Terry Reader joined The Rush Hour with Leisel, Liam & Dobbo and essentially gave Wayne Bennett his blessing to move on from the club if he wishes to do so.

Bennett is now linked to take over the vacant position next season at former club South Sydney Rabbitohs after the sacking of his own replacement, Jason Demetriou.
Reader praised everything Bennett has done for the club, helping build its foundations and set NRL’s youngest side up for the future.
“Nothing’s really changed from our point of view,” said Reader.
“As Wayne said before, only Wayne will decide when he’s enough of coaching.
“His deal with the Dolphins finishes up at the end of this year.
“He’s been part of setting up our club for the future as well with Kristian [Woolf] taking over at the end of it.”
Bennett at 74 years of age has no plans to slow down, as one of the game’s greatest masterminds plots his next move.
“Obviously he wants to coach on and Souths are interested and Wayne’s interested in being a coach.”
