Leading NRL journalist Brent Read says there’s “every chance” the Blues will look in a new direction if coach Brad Fittler fails to deliver a series win this year.

Fittler, who’s won three series to date since taking over in 2018, is out to amend last year’s series 2-1 loss.
But should Fittler suffer back-to-back series defeats this year, Read revealed just why New South Wales powerbrokers could be forced to make a major change.
“I spoke to Freddy about it and he’s well aware his future will be dictated by results in this series,” Read said on Triple M’s Monday Scrum.
