Michael Chammas on Footy Talk Journos Show made a huge call for NSW Blues and debutant coach Michael Maguire to roll the dice on Latrell Mitchell.
And it wasn’t as simple of having Mitchell being in centres like he has done in the past for the state side, or at fullback like he plays for South Sydney Rabbitohs.

It was a call that left fellow co-hosts Danny Weidler and Adam Peacock stunned.
“You were calling me crazy before!” exclaimed Weidler.
Though, Chammas believes there is reason to weaponise Latrell Mitchell in the Blues shirt.
“He’d be creating havoc!” stated Chammas.
There is already growing debate about whether or not the Souths fullback should even be picked after a tumultuous start to the season.
Mitchell has found himself in the headlines for both off-field and on-field discrepancies and is currently serving a three-game suspension for two incidents in the Rabbitohs loss to the Warriors a few weeks back.
But his Origin record is superb and hasn’t been involved in the last two years for NSW Blues.
