Triple M’s Sunday Rub debate which young star they’d select to become the marquee player for the AFL’s newest club, amid Harley Reid’s rise to stardom.
“[If] Tasmania get to pick one player – Nick Daicos or Harley Reid – for the next 15 years, who would you take?” Joey Montagna asked the Sunday Rub crew.

“Reid, because he’s the complete package,” Steve Johnson explained.
“[West Coast] need someone that can stand up in that midfield and drag others along. Whereas Daicos is the polish on top which Collingwood needed to win the premiership.”
Nathan Brown believes Nick Daicos is still ahead in the debate, given his dominance and accolades.
“I think we’re quick to forget Nick Daicos’ influence. I don’t think there’s a player with better footy IQ in the game. I’m still going with Daicos,” Browny said.
