Aussie fast bowling legend Merv Hughes says that the Australian selectors need to pick tearaway West Australian quick Lance Morris for the third and final Test against South Africa.
LISTEN HERE:
“The series is over, it’s 2-0,” Merv said on the post-Boxing Day Test edition of Willow Talk.
“So I reckon have a look at Morris and see if he’s up to it… he bowls 150 (kilometres an hour), and that’s the point of difference.
“If we go in with Boland, Cummins and Hazlewood, you’ve got three right armers, there’s a little bit of height difference but they hit the deck and move the ball around.
“I just reckon that added pace is certainly a factor when it comes to picking a team.”

“But when you’ve got the opportunity to have a player with a point of difference, an extra 10-15kmh, then maybe it’s a good opportunity to have a look at it.
