“It’s An Unusual Board” Danny Weidler On Confusing South Sydney Rabbitohs Hierarchy

Danny Weidler called the South Sydney Rabbitohs board into question on Footy Talk Journos Show after the messy exit of coach Jason Demetriou was confirmed.

It seems like there may be a case of too many cooks in the kitchen at Souths which Weidler highlighted.

“I think it’s an unusual board,” said Weidler.

“There’s representatives of Mike Cannon-Brookes there.

“They’re representatives of Russell Crowe there.

“And James Packer’s people.”

But with many voices in the room, there is concern that there are more cracks behind the scene.

“Look, there’s talk that they’re not all on the same page.

“I’m not casting aspersions on Mike Cannon-Brookes or James Packer.

“But I don’t know how heavily invested emotionally and with their football knowledge they are at South Sydney.

“Crowe, on the other hand, I definitely think he’s heavily involved.
