There’s been a lot of talk about CONCUSSION following Kalyn Ponga’s latest head knock, and Tanya & Steve want to know more!
They get sports physiotherapist and senior lecturer at UNSW Prashant Jhala on the show to find out more about sports related concussions.
He says that “only about 10% of concussions in adults will involve someone losing consciousness” and that it doesn’t make it any less severe than someone ‘blacking out’.
Prashant says there’s no set number of concussions to know when enough is enough and that “it’s an individual choice”.
