Billy Brownless raised the taboo subject of bananas to Victorian bowler Peter Siddle on the Rush Hour.
Siddle had to clear the air about how the banana narrative grew legs over the years.
“It’s all a big myth actually!” Siddle said.
SIDDLE ON BANANA MYTH:
“Warnie obviously exaggerated it back in the day.”
“You sort of exaggerate it. And it gets out to like 20-25-30.”
“Ten years later you’re stuck with this joke about the bananas!”
“I still have blokes rocking up to the ground as bananas. There was two there the other day in banana suits!”
