Daisy Thomas has launched a defence of tacklers and what they need to do ‘in the heat of battle’.

“The game is asking far too much of players,” Daisy said.
“What they are expected to do in the heat of battle is far too much.
“You don’t have the time to think that we get to talk about with slow motion and the way the AFL presents it at tribunals.
“You don’t get that live and as a result blokes are getting three or four weeks.”
