Mick Fanning joins Flan, Ali and Spida on the Triple M breakfast show this morning to talk about his upcoming charity event.
This Friday is the Mick Fanning Charity Golf Day a day to raise much-needed funds for those impacted by the devastating Northern Rivers floods. After Mick took part in rescue operations during the March 2022 floods in Northern NSW and witnessed the destruction, he became inspired to continue the relief efforts. And so, the idea of The Mick Fanning Charity Golf Day was created.
Ali mentions that Triple M afternoons announcer Nelly has been obsessed with Mick even having him as her screensaver on her computer, asking the question “how do you cope with people fawning over you”. Mick laughs and shyly replies “I don’t know, it makes me embarrassed, to be honest”.
“How does your wife cope with it?”
