Jay Clark’s Update On Max Gawn’s Knee Injury

Jay Clark says that Gawn’s inconclusive ACL test could provide genuine worry for the Demons.

JAY CLARK’S UPDATE:

Max Gawn injured his knee against Brisbane early in the first quarter, before being subbed off for Jake Melksham.

Jay Clark says the Demons have “genuine concerns” that it might be an ACL injury.

“I’ve spoken to the Melbourne footy club this morning and there is some genuine worry that he has hurt his ACL.

“He’s had two knee reconstructions on the right, this is his left knee.

“The body language for me from Max Gawn told the story. He genuinely looked devastated I thought.

“They do the ACL test on the spot in the rooms… That was inconclusive.”

Gawn is set to have scans later this afternoon.
