Jason Gillespie detailed his eye watering collision with Australian captain Steve Waugh in 1999 against Sri Lanka.
Gillespie fractured his leg when he clashed with Waugh at full speed chasing a sky ball in the outfield.
“I was in a lot of pain, but it was a bit surreal.”
