Leading NRL journalist David Riccio has revealed the Sea Eagles are seeking clarification from the NRL over Tom Trbojevic’s head knock from Origin, with Manly aiming to overturn the mandatory 11-day standdown period applied.

Trbojevic was placed under category one concussion protocols by the NRL’s independent doctor on Wednesday night, but according to Riccio, the New South Wales Blues doctor graded it as category two.
“The Sea Eagles are seeking some confirmation and clarity from the NRL,” Riccio said on Triple M’s Saturday Scrum.
