After narrowly missing out on finals football last season, Walsh’s inclusion has proved the spark for Walters’ side, who through three rounds remain undefeated.
The 20-year-old has notched three tries and two assists to his name through just two games played.
Walters spoke at length on how Walsh’s arrival has rejuvenated his attack and how the young gun fits in alongside veteran halfback Adam Reynolds.
“He brings a lot of energy and speed at the back, which we haven’t had for some time,” Walter said on Triple M’s Sunday Sin Bin.
