There’s a lot of bowlers around the country who’d be a real test to face in the nets.
As Brad Haddin told Willow Talk, one of them used to play for Brisbane.
Hadds was asked by Adam Peacock on the latest episode of Willow Talk about some of the great cross-over sporting stars he’d played with, such as Andrew Johns, who famously played a couple of early Twenty20 games for New South Wales before the Big Bash League took off.
But another – perhaps scarier – opponent was Jonathan Brown.
“The other one was Jonathan Brown, the great full forward for Brisbane,” Hadds explained.
“He used to come to the nets before a Test match, and he’s a big left arm quick. He used to only know one area though. I don’t think anyone told him about line and length…”
