1998 grand final

Darren Jarman Reflects on 1998 Crows Grand Final 25 Years On

Ahead of the 25th anniversary of the 1998 Crows Grand Final against North Melbourne, Darren Jarman joins Roo, Ditts & Loz to reflect on the iconic win.

Listen to Darren Jarman:

“I remember 97 and 98 there was so many Crows supporters that went to the game (interstate), still reckon they are one of the best travelling supporters of the game.”

He also reflects on feeling like John Lennon AKA as famous as the Beatles, getting off the plane to record crowds in 1993 after defeating Hawthorn in a prelim.

“The cops said we fear for people’s lives…5000 people rocked up to the old terminal,” Roo said.

“Yeah I felt like John Lennon,” Jarman said.
