With Nathan Broad sent straight to the tribunal for his sling tackle against Adelaide, Jay Clark outlines how many weeks he can expect to face.
JAY CLARK’S TRIBUNAL EXPECTATIONS:
Broad was cited for rough conduct for his sling tackle on Adelaide’s Patrick Parnell. It left him concussed and ruled him out of the match.
The incident was graded as careless conduct, with high contact and severe impact.
So Jay-Z narrowed down the expectation of how many weeks Broad will likely face on Monday’s Footy Talk.
“The AFL really takes a hard line stance on these dangerous tackles and the head impact,” he explained.
“It’s gotta be really clear to the league and to the players, Daisy, that you can’t do these dangerous tackles that slams players’ heads into the ground.
“You’d think the whole playing cohort will take notice of this.”
