Both Jason Demetriou and Ryan Girdler were left confused after an obstruction call from the bunker denied Chanel Harris-Tevita a second try during the Warriors win against Brisbane Broncos.

Both agreed that it was a tough call to adjudge but both had an issue with how Broncos half Jock Madden seemed to have looked for the obstruction call.
“It’s a hollywood performance,” said Demetriou.
“I don’t like it when players get rewarded for that, for initiating contact,” added Girdler.
Though as debatable as the call was, the Wahs would ice the victory in the second-half, as they snapped their losing streak but extended the Broncos’ to four games.
