If you’re a fan of the show Younger, or steamy rom-coms in general, you’ll be very pleased to know that our favourite genre has finally made its way into the world of podcasts!
The Younger Man is a brand spanking new audio fiction rom-com podcast series based on the book by Zoë Foster-Blake. Now, the author and skincare goddess herself has given the series her offical review!
“My book, The Younger Man, has been made into audio fiction… which is a beautiful full circle back to ye olde days when people tuned into radio plays. (Of which both my father, grandmother and grandfather did professionally.)” she wrote on Instagram.
“It’s a podcast… but 10x’d. There are actors (Ella Scott Lynch, Steve Bastoni, Penny McNamee), soundscapes, TV-level production values… it’s all very escapist and engaging and fun.
“In truth I’d completely forgotten what I’d written in this book so I really enjoyed listening to these 8 sassy little episodes. (Aside of the rights to use my book, I contributed nothing; this was all clever other people.)
“If you fancy a rom-com pod, (is that a thing?) or just like good audio storytelling, this could be right up your rue. 🎧”
The new series has just dropped for free on LiSTNR but Zoë has suggested listening “maybe without the kids in the car 🍆”
Yes please!
