Former Australian captain Mark Taylor has been sprung on Triple M Cricket working a story about how he made a hundred against the West Indies into commentary.
LISTEN HERE:
Tubby started by telling a story about how Curtly Ambrose nearly knocked his head off in testing conditions while batting with nightwatchman Ian Healy in 1991. But it turned out he made 144 in that inning!
In true Triple M fashion, James Brayshaw wasn’t letting Tub get away with it.
“That’s the sort of operator you are!”
“You bought up a story that didn’t really go anywhere, about Ian Healy, really because you wanted it to be brought up that you made a hundred!”
“I didn’t bring up the scorecard, did I! I said I was 2 (not out)… on my way to 144 mind you.”
