There can’t be too many more terrifying experiences on a cricket field than facing a fired-up Brett Lee charging in from round the wicket, bowling 150kph, with the intent to harm.
That is what former England spinner Ashley Giles encountered on the final day of the 2005 Ashes series, escaping uninjured and undefeated to secure a draw and with it a 2-1 series win.
