Dockers vice captain Caleb Serong revealed why Michael Frederick unleashed a backflip in an enormous celebration at the Western Derby on the weekend via Xav and Michelle for Breakfast.
“That was incredible wasn’t it?” Caleb said on Xav and Michelle for Breakfast.
Michael Frederick told Caleb Serong, “I said to my mate, if I’m all lined up, if I kick the goal on the run, the crowd was up and about and the game was in a good spot, i’m doing it.”
This defining moment was captured on air by the Triple M commentary team with Lachy Reid, Xavier Ellis, Andrew Embley and Tom Atkinson.
Xav then asked if Caleb had a backflip in him.
“I said that to my partner Chloe last night, “I reckon I might try that next time.””
