Why Shark Numbers Have Increased On The Gold Coast

Luke Bradnam our favourite beach, surf and weather reporter joins Flan, Ali and Spida after he shared some shocking footage of sharks off a Gold Coast beach. Luke says “it is bad” he’s never seen so many sharks since living on the Gold Coast.

He was talking to a trawler fisherman who had about 200 whaler sharks following their net as they pulled it in and they’ve been on the Gold Coast for over 25 years and never seen so many.

Luke has talked to a marine biologist asking why there are so many sharks on the GC. Listen to what he said here:
