Triple M Footy Quiz: Name All 44 Players From The First GWS v Gold Coast Game

Ahead of their Gather Round clash, the Triple M Footy Quiz today asks if you can remember all 44 players from the first ever GWS v Gold Coast game in 2012.

You have 15 minutes to reach back into the depths of your memories, so why not soundtrack it with a Classic Saturday Rub moment — when Spud Frawley’s rant at BT turned into an hilarious strafing of everyone in the room.

NAME ALL 44 PLAYERS FROM THE FIRST GWS v GOLD COAST GAME:

The game ended with the Giants recording the first win in their history, kicking 5.3 to 0.2 in the fourth term to turn a four point deficit into a 27 point victory.

MORE FROM THE TRIPLE M FOOTY QUIZ:

Gold Coast take on GWS at Mount Barker on Sunday afternoon, with the Giants amongst the favourites for the premiership and the Suns looking to make the finals for the first time under new coach Damien Hardwick.

The game is also momentous for an impending debut — two time premiership statistician and Triple M Footy legend Ash Chua will be calling the game as a play-by-play commentator for the first time ever!
