Damian Barrett tabled a plan on the Midweek Rub for North Melbourne to make a big play for Scott Pendlebury.
Following his column earlier this week, Barrett explained why it could extend Pendlebury’s career and get North Melbourne back on track.
Barrett believes that North Melbourne were initially tabling this move in early 2022 before Collingwood took off under Craig McRae.
“At that stage… This was, I believe, put to people around Pendlebury from a North perspective,” Barrett said.
Dale Thomas & Leigh Montagna liked the plan and agreed that could be a win-win for both parties.
