Travis Head spoke to the Marty Sheargold Show after outgoing Gold Coast Suns coach Stuart Dew was spotted with the national side ahead of the fourth test in Manchester.
“He came into the sheds five or six years ago in a one-dayer at the SCG, and me and him both rolled out of the SCG after it. So we’ve kept in touch since.”
“I spoke to him a couple weeks ago and he thought he was safe, got a message from him the next morning saying he’s booked a flight. It’s nice to get him over here.”
Head also shared how former Geelong captain Joel Selwood found his way in the Australian camp, and how the doors have swung open for all Australian sporting stars!
