Triple M’s Marty Sheargold claims AFL clubs would be making a mistake by giving former player Tarryn Thomas a footy lifeline.
It comes after Essendon coach Brad Scott confirmed the club is considering recruiting the ex-Roo, despite being suspended over allegations of domestic violence.
“You can’t say he’s a good guy that made a couple of mistakes,” Sheargold said on his morning breakfast show.

The league issued a strong stance against domestic violence this week, revealing a minute’s silence will take place before each game this weekend to pay tribute to women suffering gender-based violence.
