Ex-Collingwood captain Scott Pendlebury believes player’s should be sent off the field after committing a big hit, advocating for the league to establish a ‘sin bin’.
While discussing Melbourne forward Kozzy Pickett’s high bump on Dogs star Bailey Smith, Pendlebury says “it’s not a football act”.
“I think it’s something we need to get rid of out of our game..”
“Watching the NRL they get sin binned, and I don’t mind that for our players .. So it’s a complete disadvantage, and now you play 17 versus 18 for ten minutes.”
The Magpies veteran joined the Marty Sheargold Show to review round one, his side’s comeback victory over Geelong, the value of draws and more!
