Adelaide legend Tex Walker responded to reports that the Crows are throwing millions of dollars at Elliot Yeo on Breakfast with Roo, Ditts and Loz this morning.
TEX ON REPORTS ADELAIDE ARE THROWING MILLIONS AT ELLIOT YEO:
“We’ve been on the record saying that we’re gonna be aggressive in trade,” Tex said.
“I don’t know who we’re gonna get, but I’d imagine that the footy club are gonna be quite aggressive and get some talent in to bolster our team.”

Tex admitted the Crows need an injection of talent in order to help them climb the ladder, but was at pains to point out he has no say in recruitment.
“We’re not inside the eight and we need some talent and depth in our squad, and that’s what we’ll probably do,” he said.
“I don’t know where it sits, I don’t get involved in list management.
“So that’s a question for Reidy (list manager Justin Reid) or the bloke next to me (Mark Ricciuto, the Crows’ Football Director).

Ricciuto himself had earlier addressed the links to Yeo, reiterating similar points to Tex.
“Numerous people at the football club have said that the club is looking to add experience and age and polish to our list,” Roo said.
“There’s always numbers bandied around, there’s always length of term bandied around, there’s names bandied around, and they’re not always right.”
Roo also addressed links to Sydney Swans Will Hayward and Errol Gulden, and All-Australian Bulldog Tim English.
