Jeff Schmucker | First On Scene At Streaky Bay Shark Attack

Streaky Bay fisherman Jeff Schmucker recounted the events of a shark attack that saw the life of Todd Gendle on Triple M Breakfast Roo, Ditts & Loz.

A four-metre great white while surfing near Granite Rock, close to Streaky Bay – about 700km from Adelaide killed the 55 year-old man.

“I’ve had so much to do with great whites over the last 30/40 years,” said Schmucker.

“It created a whole eery scene.”
