With Flan, Ali and Spida kicking off again on Monday, we’re revisiting probably the most remarkable moment of 2023: when Spida sprayed himself!
Spida is a long term critic of Swell Festival in Currumbin, and had always said he wouldn’t go there.
Last year, he did the unthinkable – but at least had the good grace to not just own up, but to give himself a spray like he has so many others.
Never miss anything happening on the Gold Coast or the Tweed with the Flan, Ali & Spida playlist:
“I saw everything,” Spida said.
I saw the Hills Hoist, I saw the yellow banana with legs with legs or whatever they wanna call it, the large horse with wings, the tractor, the sand timer… I saw the lot.
“I looked at it, I read about it, and I kept walking to the next one.
“I hate myself for it – but I did it!”
MORE FROM FLAN, ALI AND SPIDA:
The worst part about it for Spida though?
“It was good!” he said.
Maybe he’ll enjoy it more this year!
